The Windsor Link Railway is the first privately-led and funded new railway for over 100 years. It aims to give local residents faster and more frequent trains to London, Heathrow and throughout the region from Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead and Ascot. Other potential benefits include improving the environment, providing more parking, reducing traffic congestion and lower train fares.
