The Royal Borough Observer reports: Windsor Link Railway (WLR) has passed the pre-planning advice stage with the Royal Borough for the first phase of its plan to transform rail travel in the South East by combining Windsor’s two stations underground. An online poll by the Windsor Express has found strong support for the Windsor Link Railway proposals. This week's poll asked voters whether or not the WLR would be a good think for Windsor. Of 98 voters, 77 (78.5%) said 'yes', it would be a good thing. Just 18 voters (18.4%) said 'no' and three (3.1%) were undecided. The Windsor Express is available from good local newsagents.
