The Windsor Link has been contributing to the examination of the RBWM Borough Local Plan. The examiner is currently considering whether the plan is 'sound' in a legal sense and hearings are underway. The Windsor Link has been keen to encourage the council to take a masterplan-led approach to Windsor, as it has done for Maidenhead and Ascot. Getting the announcement out just before the election period, the government has announced a new policy for connecting Heathrow Airport to the south. The Southern Rail Link to Heathrow (SRLtH) acronym is gone, replaced by a more general Southern Access to Heathrow (SAtH).
