The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has just announced a cabinet paper for a Windsor strategic plan. This will include the Windsor Link Railway. The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead's cabinet yesterday evening approved 'preferred options' policies for supporting the Windsor Link Railway. Local plan working group minutes published

The Borough Local Plan Working Group has been reviewing the draft of the next ‘preferred options’ consultation. The minutes of the meeting on 19 November, where WLR was discussed, have now been published. The Windsor Observer reports: The Royal Borough Local Plans Working Group met on Wednesday last week [19 November] to discuss items and policies to be included in the borough-wide Local Plan with the £250m Windsor Link Railway scheme up for discussion. The Royal Borough Observer reports: Windsor Link Railway (WLR) has passed the pre-planning advice stage with the Royal Borough for the first phase of its plan to transform rail travel in the South East by combining Windsor’s two stations underground. RBWM responds positively to WLR petition

Last night, the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council gave its response to the petition on WLR. The Windsor Link Railway has today reached an important milestone: it has submitted its vision statement and pre-planning application to RBWM.
